Below, the original flooring consists of tile of Tarifa and redish brick expands along this XVI century building.

How did it all start?

Maximilian bought a XVII century house in the old area in Tarifa in 1999 and he started to rebuild the house within the same year. Maximilian is a sculptor and a painter. When he bought the house he already had the art gallery in mind.

In the year 2001 Maxi, as he is named in Tarifa, went to a friend's wedding to Madrid, and they already had a girlfriend for him and they guessed right.
In the year 2002, Isabel and Maxi married.
Isabel is also a painter, so they both finished with the rebuilding of the house.
Nowadays, SILOS is the biggest private exhibition hall in the Campo of Gibraltar.

All year round you can visit Isabel and Maxi's permanent exhibitions, and at Christmas, Easter and in summer, some other artists' exhibitions.
Our concept of gallery consists of organizing excellent exhibitions of any art style. Occasionally, in summer, Christmas and Easter concerts of classical music and jazz, and performances will be held at Silos Gallery.

Durante todo el año estan las exposiciones permanentes de ISABEL H. De la OSA y MAXIMILIAN, y durante la época de semana santa, verano y navidades exponemos otros artistas. Nuestro concepto de galeria es realizar exposiciónes que abarquen todos los estilos y todos los aspectos del arte. Ocasionalmente en verano, navidades y semana santa, se celebrarán actuaciones de musica clásica, jazz y performances.
