MIREILLE FOMBRUN MALLEBRANCHE

Born in Port Prince, Haïti, 1955.
Studied and lived in San Juan de Puerto Rico since 1966, where she finished her studies at Faculty of Humanism at Río Piedras-University, in fine arts.
1975 she went to the United States where she studied sculpturing at Maryland Institute of Art in Baltimore, for one year. |

1976 she studied at 'Academia di Belle Arti' in Bergamo, Italy, where she received drawing and painting courses. 1989 she moved to Madrid, where she visited the 'Escuela de Cerámica de la Moncloa', participating during five years at workshops for modelling and ceramic vitrification. Actualy she lives and works in Madrid, where she does periodic exhibitions at art galleries and cultural institutes. Mireille's sculptural works can be seen at private collections, art-galleries and public spaces in Spain, France, Sweden, Germany, United States, Puerto Rico y Haïti, and other countries.
